Founder John Buckman writes, "The goal is to find a way to run a record label in the Internet Reality: file trading, Internet Radio, musicians' rights, the whole nine-yards."
Customers can browse among hand-selected artists in a variety of genres. A variable pricing scheme means you can pay as little as $5 for an album if you choose, with 50% of payment going to the artist.
