"Gimpgirl" Fundraiser in Caledon

Mr Ederyn Clowes tells me that yesterday he stopped in at the Victorians with Disabilities Dance at Caledon Carntaigh. Though he couldn't stay long, he learned the event was a fundraiser for an SL community called GimpGirl, really an extention of an older aethernet community (see link) for women with disabilities. The SL group is run by JennyLin Arashi and Aleja Asurias.

In SL, they have their own island - Mr Clowes was able to visit it briefly today (he says it is worth seeing), and learned from Miss Asurias that although the land is donated, they still need to raise money for SL and RL expenses. This is, certainly, another worthy cause to keep in mind!
